Mustapha Shaaraoui, MD, is a cardiologist in the American Hospital Dubai, specialized in Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is american board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology and echocardiography. He has special interest in ablation of atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias and supraventricular tachycardias. Dr. Shaaraoui received a Bachelors degree in Biology with distinction from the American University of Beirut, where he also completed his medical degree with distinction. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr Shaaraoui completed his residency training at Cleveland Clinic, where he spent 5 years in the cardiology section. He finished his fellowship in cardiology from Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania. He then completed his cardiac electrophysiology training at Yale New Haven Hospital, where he served as chief fellow in electrophysiology in 2013.
