Nadeen is a registered dietician with the Dieticians of Canada, having completed her Bachelor degree in Nutrition and Food with Honours from Ryerson University in Canada. She also holds a Masters degree from the University of Toronto and Mount Sinai Hospital, where her clinical nutrition research thesis focused on the effects of vitamin D on neurocognitive benefits and insulin resistance in geriatric patients
She pursued further training at North York General Hospital in Toronto where she gained clinical hands-on experience on the specific nutritional needs of complex conditions at all life stages, from premature infants to older adults. Nadeen was recognised as the youngest dietician to manage a full senior caseload at the hospital
Her skills include specialisation in total parenteral nutrition (TPN) and enteral feeding (EN) for medical and surgical patients who are severely nutritionally compromised; as well as management of metabolic syndrome and metabolic disorders including diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, pancreatic, liver and renal disorders.
